What Happens During A Tooth Extraction?
We start the process by administering an anesthetic to numb the area around the tooth. We offer sedation dentistry as well for those who would rather be asleep or more relaxed during their appointment. We then loosen and lift the tooth out of its underlying socket. This is a quick and painless process that is done in just a matter of seconds. The gums may need sutures depending on your unique needs. You’ll bite down on gauze to stop all bleeding and will be provided with detailed instructions on how to care for your mouth while it’s healing.
